WE ARE THE FIRST SHARK DIVING OPERATION IN COZUMEL
Apex Encounters was born out of our deep love of the ocean, as well as the necessity for public education about sharks and their vital role in our marine ecosystems. With their rapidly decreasing populations and slow reproduction cycle, the protection of these creatures begins by changing the public perception of these so-called “man-eating” animals.

Apex Encounters offers world-class, fully immersive shark diving expeditions in the northern reefs of Cozumel. Each trip is specifically designed to bring you safely face-to-face with the Caribbean reef sharks. This once-in-a-lifetime educational experience is guaranteed to change your perception of sharks forever.

Maximum of 8 divers per trip. (3 Guides)
Charter is 5.30 hours in duration and leaves from Marina Fonatur.
Departure: 8 am - 1:30 pm
Nitrox is Mandatory
Please arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to your scheduled dive.
This is a feeding dive at a max depth of 86 Feet
Requisite: To have dived with Scuba Life at least once on their regular trips and level of experience approved.
Minimum divers to make the trip: 4 Divers
This experience is subject to availability and weather conditions.
Even if your dives are booked, if we don't meet the minimum of divers or the weather conditions don't allow the trip, we will need to cancel and refund your deposit.
